Our learners are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to excellence and innovation in teaching and learning and the Strategy Statement sets out LMETB’s strategic direction to enable us to continue to provide high quality education and training services to the communities of Louth and Meath.
The Strategy Statement was developed following an on-line consultation with staff, learners, parent/guardian bodies, LMETB Board, Committees, Boards of Management, funders and other stakeholders. Unfortunately, Covid-19 protocols meant that normal face to face consultation was not feasible. LMETB will benefit greatly from the valuable contribution that these stakeholders have made to the development of our Strategy Statement.
I am confident that the Strategy Statement addresses current concerns and ambitions while simultaneously taking cognisance of trends and developments at local, national and European level. I believe that it is a relevant, targeted and ambitious strategy.
I, as Chief Executive of LMETB, with the support of my Senior Management Team, am committed to the implementation of this Strategy Statement and I look forward to engaging with LMETB stakeholders at all levels as we go through the process of implementing our ambitious goals and actions. I commend this strategy to you knowing that it will help us to improve the experience of learners. We will deliver our Strategy, guided by our mission, values and principles to play our role in the long-term development of Louth and Meath as a great place to live, work and thrive.
