Timetables & School Day Structure

Weekly Timetable
Each year group follows a carefully balanced weekly timetable designed to provide a broad and engaging curriculum. Students study a mix of 6 core and 3 optional subjects, along with dedicated time for Wellbeing, SPHE and PE. Timetables are issued before the start of the school year and are also available through the school’s online platform.
Tutor Time & Assemblies
Tutor Time is a valuable part of the school day where students meet with their class tutor for important notices, wellbeing check-ins, and pastoral care. Year group assemblies with their Wellbeing Co-Ordinator also take place throughout the year, creating space to celebrate achievements, share information, and build a strong sense of community.
Key Dates, Early Finishes & School Closures
Occasionally, the school day may vary due to events such as parent–teacher meetings, staff training, or other planned activities. All information regarding school closures, early finishes, and key dates is available on our School Calendar, which can be easily accessed at the bottom of the homepage of our website. We encourage parents and students to check the calendar regularly to stay up to date with important information throughout the school year.
Supporting Students’ Organisation
We encourage students to develop good organisational habits early on, such as preparing their school bag the night before, using a homework journal or planner, and arriving promptly for the start of the day. These small steps help students to feel confident, prepared, and ready to learn.
